Svitzer extends contract with APMT Bahrain for two line boats

Svitzer, a global towage provider, has extended its contract with APM Terminals (APMT) Bahrain to operate two line boats that service vessels stopping in Bahrain.

The new contract runs until 20 December 2027.

The two line boats provide connection and ensure area companies continue to prosper by serving coastal tankers and small vessels such as tugs and barges.

“By continuing to join forces, we demonstrate our commitment to delivering excellent services and maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency and reliability.”

In April 2023, Svitzer signed a Global Services Agreement with Caterpillar to enhance vessel uptime and drive service efficiency.

More recently, Svitzer agreed to serve Gastrade’s Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System (Alexandroupolis INGS) LNG terminal.
