IT Systems integrator Solvo has recently signed a contract with the port operator-developer Fenix to implement the Solvo terminal operating system (TOS) at a newly developed Port of Bronka.
The port is currently being constructed in Saint Petersburg near the St. Petersburg dam to solve the problem of port capacity deficiency in the North-West region of the Russian Federation.
Bronka is thought to host the largest container terminal in Russia with projected turnover of three million TEU per year by 2022.
Solvo’s TOS was selected as the leading solution on the Russian TOS market – more than 20 large ports and terminals currently use the system.
The combination of the Russian-made solution offered by Solvo and the experience with similar projects of Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH across the globe will offer port cargo and shipping line owners a new range of services.
