DP World has launched a UAE e-invoicing solution after being selected by the UAE Ministry of Finance as a pre-approved service provider.
The selection comes ahead of the UAE’s phased rollout of mandatory e-invoicing, with a pilot programme set to begin on 1 July 2026.
Businesses with revenues exceeding AED 50 million will be required to appoint an accredited provider by 30 October 2026, ahead of full nationwide implementation in January 2027.
The system is designed to embed e-invoicing compliance directly into existing operational and financial workflows, reducing manual intervention while improving transaction speed, accuracy and traceability.
DP World said the platform will support improved invoice processing cycles, tighter reconciliation between shipments and payments, and greater end-to-end visibility across cross-border trade flows.
The company added that the system is intended to provide more predictable cash flow and streamline trade execution across complex supply chains.

Dr Mohamed AbuHamra, Chief Operating Officer – Digital Technology, DP World GCC, said: “Our role is to help customers adapt to this regulatory shift without disruption by embedding compliance into the systems they already use. For businesses, that means faster settlement cycles, fewer reconciliation gaps and better visibility across every transaction in their supply chain.”
The infrastructure is fully hosted within the UAE, with DP World stating that all invoice data and financial information will be stored and processed domestically in line with national data sovereignty requirements.
The company is currently onboarding customers and supporting early implementation planning ahead of the regulatory deadlines.
By integrating e-invoicing with trade, logistics and financial platforms, DP World said businesses will be able to manage documentation, customs processes and financial reconciliation within a single workflow, supporting more streamlined and transparent trade operations across the UAE and wider supply chains.
