Datifex has signed a Managed Service Agreement with the Halifax Port Authority (HPA) to deploy its OneHarbour™ platform across Port Halifax’s operational infrastructure.
Built on Datifex’s DATIVerse 3D™ technology, OneHarbour consolidates vessel traffic, berth scheduling, environmental conditions and safety events into a single browser-based 3D environment accessible in real time from any device.
The platform is designed to reduce the operational complexity faced by the HPA’s around-the-clock Operations Centre, which manages one of Canada’s busiest harbours.
The system delivers automated alerts covering potential vessel collisions, unauthorised movements, restricted-zone incursions, High Air Draft Vessel bridge clearance risks and hazardous weather.
It also integrates data from Automatic Identification System transponders, computer vision and radar into unified vessel tracks, improving detection of smaller vessels without AIS.
Datifex developed the platform through membership of The PIER, the Halifax Port Authority’s living lab, which enabled real-world testing in an operational port environment ahead of commercial adoption.
