PSA Halifax welcomes the CMA CGM Cypress as part of the expanded INDAMEX service, strengthening existing direct trade connectivity between the Indian Subcontinent and Canada.
The INDAMEX service connects the Indian Subcontinent with the Canadian East Coast, calling at key South Asian and Middle Eastern ports including Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Colombo, Port Qasim and Jeddah.
The rotation is designed to offer competitive transit times and a direct routing option for Canadian shippers seeking improved access to growth markets across South Asia and the Middle East.

The Cypress, with a capacity of 8,586 TEUs, is part of a service deploying vessels of up to 10,000 TEUs. Its arrival highlights Halifax’s deep-water capabilities, mega-class cranes and modern terminal infrastructure, supporting the port’s role in accommodating larger vessels and expanding global connectivity.
In January, PSA Singapore (PSA) and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) announced a joint venture RoRo terminal in Singapore.
