ONE rolls out simplified surcharge structure for shippers
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the launch of its Surcharge Cleanup Project, part of the carrier’s ongoing drive for transparency, efficiency, and customer-focused pricing.

The initiative aims to simplify ONE’s surcharge structure, reducing the number of codes while improving clarity and predictability for shippers worldwide.

According to ONE, the project will enhance the customer experience by delivering clear and predictable pricing, reducing the risk of surprises.

It will streamline the pricing architecture by replacing overlapping or ambiguous fees with a consistent, formula-based approach.

The initiative will also boost operational efficiency through simplified internal workflows that enable faster, more reliable processing.

Finally, the Surcharge Cleanup Project ensures full regulatory compliance, meeting global mandates including those set by the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China and the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC).

Recently, ONE updated its East Coast South America Express 2 (SX2) Service and River Plate Express (RPX) Service Proforma.
