South Carolina Ports (SC Ports) processed 114,883 pier containers and 209,107 TEUs in October, down 11 per cent year-on-year (YoY).
The port authority owed this to the three-day work stoppage that occurred throughout the whole coast.
Container volumes in fiscal year 2025 have stayed consistent with those in the previous year, with the port processing 467,686 pier containers and 847,107 TEUs since 1 July.
Inland Ports Greer and Dillon handled a total of 17,749 rail movements in October, a 12 per cent decrease from the previous year.
