Exhibiting at TOC Europe 2014, container-handling specialist Sany Germany has announced plans to introduce its new heavy-duty forklifts at the end of this year.
The sub-division of the container-handling giant, based in Bedburg, Germany, is currently in the process of developing the product for a later launch.
The organisation has its own research and development facility – employing specialists who know what they are doing and the market they operate in to develop cutting-edge products for its clients.
The organisation claims to offer a good alternative to port operators due to having the same suppliers, and offering the same European components as the competition.
Janine Weigal, departmental manager of marketing and sales administration said: “On a research and development level, we are able to meet customer needs and tailor to their requirements. Being a small company means that we can be much more flexible and adapt to their needs.”
She added: “On a production level, we have a 100% availability of spare parts which makes us reliable for our customers.”
Weigal concluded: “We want to be perceived as offering high quality products for a fair price. We don’t want to be perceived as a Chinese brand as their prices are low and reflect low quality.”
