With significant orders for STS cranes garnered by China’s SANY Port Machinery, PSA Singapore is continuing to diversify its equipment procurement.

With production facilities in Zhuhai and Changsha, SANY Marine Heavy Industry (SMHI), founded in 2011, is a significant component of SANY Heavy Equipment International Holdings Co., Ltd.

This deal comes almost a year after Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam signed a contract for the construction and delivery of these cranes with SANY Europe, part of the SANY Heavy Industries of Changsha, China.

In addition to supplying the industry-leading reach stacker, empty container handler, forklift truck, material handler, and telehandler in small-size port machinery, SMHI currently offers STS, RTG, RMG, and Jib Crane in large-size port machinery.
