Those of you who were lucky enough to join us at CTAC this year will be familiar with the 'live' interview of Athena – the advanced AI 2.0 system from INFORM’s 2038: A Smart Port Story novella.

During the interview, Matthew Wittemeier took the audience on a journey to the year 2038, and as then 'Editor in Chief of PTI', interviewed Athena on a range of topics.

The feedback on the session was exceptional, and as such, we’ve partnered with INFORM to bring you the unique opportunity to both see and hear a selection of Athena’s responses from that interview but also the opportunity for you to ask Athena questions directly.

The Athena Interviews is a series that will run bi-weekly and build into our upcoming Smart Digital Ports of the Future conference (#SDP19) in November where INFORM, the Official AI Partner of #SDP19, will release their final installment of 2038: A Smart Port Story. We encourage you to send through thought-provoking questions about the future of logistics, technology, or AI to Athena.2038@inform-software.com.

Alternatively, you can ask a question via LinkedIn using the hashtag #AskAthena2038. We’ll select the best questions and pose them to Athena on a bi-weekly basis.

To get the ball rolling, we’re going to start with the basics, to help those of you who missed CTAC this year or haven’t had a chance to read 2038: A Smart Port Story, to understand the context of this interview series. So, without further ado…

Matthew: Athena, would you mind introducing yourself?

Athena:

Matthew: Athena, what is AI 2.0?
