Singaporean terminal operator PSA International, along with Polish Development Fund (PFR), has announced has formally acquired DCT Gdansk, the largest container terminal in Poland.

As reported back then, the container terminal sits at the crossroads of Baltic deep-sea trading routes and is the fastest growing container port in Europe.
Furthermore, it is the only terminal in the Baltic that can serve Ultra Large Container Vessels (UCLVs), the largest container ships in the world.
It has a quay length of 1,306 meters and maximum depth of 17 meters, and is undergoing a significant expansion, which is due to be completed by 2020.
