PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA) has announced a record annual container handling volume of 100.2 million TEUs for the year ending 31 December 2024.
This marks the first time the company has surpassed the 100 million TEU milestone in a single year.
PSA’s flagship terminal in Singapore contributed 40.9 million TEUs, reflecting a 5.5 per cent increase, while its terminals outside Singapore accounted for 59.2 million TEUs, up by 5.7 per cent.
The Group’s overall throughput rose by 5.6 per cent compared to 2023.

“2024 has been a year of measured recovery for the global economy, shaped by ongoing geopolitical conflicts, trade tensions, national elections, fiscal pressures and fluctuating interest rates,” said Peter Voser, Group Chairman of PSA.
“Despite the challenges, we are proud to have achieved this important throughput milestone for the Group. Looking ahead, we anticipate further economic uncertainty. In December of last year, PSA Singapore and Evergreen Marine Corporation (EMC) established a joint venture in Singapore aiming to enhance operational performance.
