In an exclusive video interview with Gene Seroka, Executive Director for the Port of Los Angeles (LA), he discusses the Port of LA's commitment and focus for ensuring that the Port of LA remains one of the most environmentally-friendly ports globally.
Since its cleaner action plan began 10 years ago, the port has achieved a reduction in diesel particulate-matters of around 80%, while it continues with its drive to reduce carbon emissions, both at its port and in collaboration with much larger associations.
Gene Seroke said: “The Pacific ports clean air collaborative allows a unique point in time for us to strategise and share information around technology, advances and those practices that we can implement right here in the US and at our West Coast ports.”
