The Port of Auckland has been nominated as the best seaport in Oceania for the 2016 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards.

The annual awards are hosted and organised by Asia Cargo News, which recognises leading service providers across air and shipping lines to air and sea ports.
The Ports of Auckland’s selection reflects the company’s current position and highlighted a 10% increase in crane rate efficiency.
The port was nominated alongside ports which include Honolulu Harbor, Sydney Ports, the Port of Brisbane and the Port of Melbourne.
Tony Gibson, CEO at the Ports of Auckland, said, “To be chosen as one of the best ports in Oceania by our industry partners worldwide is a fantastic achievement.
