According to the monthly figures supplied by the Bulletin, the increase in traffic in Valenciaport is attributed to an increase in the management of total general cargo, with the ‘non-containerised’ showing a 14.47 per cent increase and the containerised registering a 0.38 per cent increase.
On the other hand, the tonnes of bulk handled from the Valencian docks have fallen by 8.97 per cent compared to September 2022.
The records for the first nine months of the year show a negative balance of 6.97 per cent in terms of tonnes handled and 9.96 per cent in terms of containers.
Additionally, PAV reported a 2.08 per cent decrease in export freights.
