The ShibataFenderTeam Group (SFT), together with Soletanche Bachy, has equipped the new berths at Port le Havre with 45 Special Element Fender Systems (FE-S 1250).
The 7.2 metre-high fender systems were designed to consider big tidal variations of around 8 metres and were built to safely accommodate berthing of large vessels of more than 300 metres.
According to the company, these fender systems were manufactured with a customised fastening system that allows the removal of the PE Plates from the front, without the need to access the fenders from behind.
Additionally, SFT supplied 20 sets of Steel Ladders in different lengths.
