The Port of London Authority (PLA) is seeking to appoint an experienced Marine Engineer.
The new role, which carries a USD $77,000 annual slary, will be based in PLA office in Denton Wharf office, Kent, UK.
Applicants will be trained in a appropriate engineering discipline to a degree, HNC or equivalent.
Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and managerial experience in work boat/small vessel repair, marine project delivery or a similar business.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven record of customer focused service delivery while having strong leadership qualities as well demonstrate sound theoretical and practical knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and equipment, and have a good knowledge and understanding of the statutory requirements of small to medium commercial vessels less than 500GT.
