Greece’s Piraeus Port has announced a record annual revenue of €194.6 million ($207.5 million) in 2022, up 26.2 per cent from 2021.
The profit before tax for 2022 reported by Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.) was €74.7 million ($80 million), representing a 51.7 per cent increase from the previous year according to Chinese state media outlet Xinhua.
Profit after tax increased by 43.9 per cent in 2022 to €52.9 million ($56.7 million).

“It is worth noting that the above results showcase the best ever performance achieved by PPA S.A. in both revenue and profitability,” the port authority said.
In 2021, COSCO Shipping increased its stake by 16 per cent for PPA S.A.
