The Port Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) has expanded its membership base with five new members joining in the first quarter of 2018.
Yardeye GmbH, Fimer SpA, Jiangsu Gangyi Heavy Machinery Co., TELE-FONIKA Kable S.A and Baumer Huber GmbH joined PEMA, bringing its total membership to 108.
PEMA President, Ottonel Popesco, said: “With our growing member base and increasingly diverse range of activities, PEMA is better positioned than ever before to ensure that the port equipment and technology sectors have a clear and unified voice in the industry.
“I would like to thank our new and existing members for their support and look forward to continuing to develop PEMA’s role and responsibilities, in 2018 and beyond.”

Yardeye GmbH are a tech company that employ radar and radio solutions to promote and ensure safety with automated port equipment, with a special focus on Intermodal Yards.
Fimer SpA are an Italian based company engineering solar power technology – including electrical vehicle chargers for ports, power plants, and other utilities.
Jiangsu Gangyi Heavy Machinery Co. are a well-known crane manufacturer, based in China’s Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu Gangyi is a major producer of port equipment in China, and offers manufacturing, installation and maintenance services for heavy port equipment across China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan and Australia.
TELE-FONIKA Kable S.A is one of Europe’s leading cable and wire manufacturers. Based in Poland, the company produces over 25000 different products and distribute to customers across more than 80 countries globally.
Baumer Huber GmbH is the Baumer Group competence center for Heavy Duty sensors particularly conceived for drive engineering. They specialise in reliable encoders, tacho-generators and speed switches in Heavy Duty technology.
