The Panama Canal Authority has released a revamped section for its Maritime Services Tariffs.
The Canal Authority’s revised Maritime Services Tariffs contain a full list of current toll and marine service rates in a user-friendly drop-down style, with a download option.
The updated section also includes a Maritime Services Estimation Calculator, which predicts the cost of canal transit based on fixed and variable tariffs, marine services, and port movements.
Shipping alerts, such as announcements and toll and marine service updates, are among the additional features.

The revamped section also includes Notes on Maritime Services Tariffs, which includes explanatory notes and examples to help you understand tolls and Maritime Service Tariffs, and Frequently Asked Questions, which gives rapid access to commonly asked questions to improve customer support.
The Panama Canal Authority clarified that the new cost estimating tool does not replace the VUMPA calculator, which offers more precise figures for maritime services.
