The Board of Directors of Orient Overseas International Limited (OOIL) has adopted a policy of issuing unaudited operating updates for Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) on a quarterly basis.
This announcement provides an unaudited operating update for OOCL for the second quarter ended 30 June 2024.
Total revenues climbed by 14.4 per cent to $2.26 billion in the second quarter ended 30 June 2024, compared to the same time in the previous year. Total lifting increased by 0.9 per cent, but loadable capacity declined by 3.4 per cent.

The total load factor was 3.6 per cent greater than in the same time of 2023. Overall, average revenue per TEU climbed by 13.4 per cent over the second quarter of previous year.
Total revenues climbed by 2.2 per cent and total liftings increased by 2.1 per cent in the first half of 2024 compared to the same time the previous year.
Loadable capacity has dropped by 0.7 per cent. The total load factor was 2.3 per cent greater than in the same time of 2023. The average revenue per TEU was comparable to the same time last year.

Furthermore, total revenues climbed by 2.2 per cent and total liftings increased by 2.1 per cent in the first half of 2024 compared to the same time the previous year.
