OOCL unveils new Far East- Chennai service

Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) has launched the Far East – Chennai Service 3 (FCS3), providing better connection between South China, Southeast Asia, and Chennai.

FCS3 was launched on 6 December 2024, and offers direct links between several ports in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and East India, providing its clients with a competitive and dependable transportation alternative.

The service is designed to meet the increasing trading demands between these dynamic markets.

The FCS3 port rotation is: Nansha, Shekou – Ho Chi Minh City – Laem Chabang – Port Kelang – Chennai – Nansha.

Recently, OOCL unveiled a brand new 16,828 TEU container vessel, the ‘OOCL Iris’.

The company also recently introduction of the new China Laem Chabang Service (CHL2).
