Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has launched the East Africa Express (EAX5) service to offer express linkage between India, Middle East, and East Africa
The EAX5 service in the Asia –Africa network provides direct connections between India Subcontinent/Middle East and East Africa, with a competitive transit time of 9/14 days from Abu Dhabi/Mundra to Mombasa respectively.

The service also adds to OOCL’s existing loops EAX1, 3, and 4.
The port rotation for EAX5: Nhava Sheva- Mundra – Jebel Ali – Abu Dhabi – Mombasa – Dar Es Salaam – Nhava Sheva.
The new service will commence from Nhava Sheva from 22 November.
In June OOCL launched its new Transpacific Latin Pacific 6 (TLP6) service.
