Ocean Network Express (ONE) has shipped its first set of containers out of Thailand, carrying cargo from Japanese electric company Canon.
A ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion, attended by ONE Thailand’s Managing Director Mr Kiyoshi Tokonami and Canon Hi-Tech Thailand’s President Mr Kazumasa Sakurai.
Mr Sakurai said: “We are overjoyed to have ONE officially starting their service.
“It’s amazing to see the combined three Japanese carriers working together as one, creating new and timely services for the region.
“While this is our first shipment with the carrier, we look forward to many more in the near future and building a fruitful relationship with ONE.”
Earlier this month, ONE delivered their first container to Buenos Aries Port, the leading shipping point for international trade in Argentina.
