Ocean Network Express (ONE), the world’s sixth largest container line, has achieved a new productivity record at the PSA-operated Pasir Panjang Terminal in Singapore.

A celebratory event, hosted by ONE and PSA Singapore, highlighted the unprecedented efficiency achieved during the servicing of ONE’s “NYK SWAN” container ship, which took place on December 21, 2018.

The ceremony was attended by over 100 representatives from both companies, including Takashi Kase, Senior Vice President of Ocean Network Express, and Philbert Chua, Vice President of PSA Singapore.

According to a statement, over 6,000 moves were accomplished in 18.5 hours, representing a gross berth productivity rate of more than 300 ship to shore moves.

This is the highest level of operational performance demonstrated by a ONE vessel, as well a new operational benchmark for PSA.
