Container carrier, Ocean Network Express (ONE), has announced an upgrade of its IBESCO (IBC) service, adding a direct call to and from the Port of Gdynia to the service.
According to ONE, the addition of the Polish port will enhance its coverage within the Europe region and provide customer with direct options between Poland, Scandinavia, Portugal, and Europe base ports.
The first Gdynia call will take effective on board MV WES GESA on 16 June.
The service will have a weekly frequency

The new service rotation will be as follows:
Rotterdam – Leixoes – Lisbon – London Gateway Port – Rotterdam – Gdynia – Aarhus – Gothenburg – Antwerp – Rotterdam.
Last month, ONE reported a decrease in earnings for the financial year 2022 amidst uncertain market conditions.
More recently, ONE announced the opening of its first wholly owned Irish office, Ocean Network Express (Europe) Ltd, Ireland Branch.
