ONE unveils new Indian Ocean Express service

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the new Indian Ocean Express service (IOX).

This new service connects India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan with the North Europe region offering customers expanded service coverage for this region.

Additionally, the transshipment service via Colombo would cater to the shipping needs of ONE’s customers from East India and Bangladesh.

According to ONE, the new IOX service is intended to deliver a dependable, high-quality, and schedule-compliant transportation alternative.

The inaugural voyage from Nhava Sheva to North Europe will commence with:

  • Hyundai Oakland/V133W (ETA Karachi: 5 February 2025) 

  • Hyundai Oakland/V133E (ETA London Gateway: 16 March 2025)


As the service will be routed via Cape of Good Hope, the following service rotation is:

Karachi – Hazira – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Antwerp – Karachi 

In October, ONE announced the debut of its new weekly service, ‘India Coastal Express (ICE)’, which connects West Coast India, Sri Lanka, and East Coast India.
