ONE introduces new service in Asia

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the Thailand Hakata Express (THX) service connecting Thailand, China, Japan and Vietnam.

The new service will have the following port rotation:
Bangkok – Laem Chabang – Ho Chi Minh – Nansha – Hakata – Osaka – Kobe

According to ONE, the first THX sailing is scheduled to depart from Bangkok on 10 August 2023.

This announcement comes one month after ONE introduced the KCS2 service, connecting Korea, China and the Straits.

The container shipping company expressed: “The THX will provide our customers with new direct connections as well as quicker transit-time with only 10 days from Laem Chabang to Hakata.”

In May 2023, ONE announced an upgrade of its IBESCO (IBC) service, adding a direct call to and from the Port of Gdynia to the service.

More recently, ONE introduced the Latin-East-Coast Europe Express (LUX), a new weekly service connecting Europe and the Mediterranean to the East Coast of South America.
