Cuxhaven, Germany - October 30, 2019: container ship ONE Hong Kong on the river Elbe

The Premier Alliance has announced the debut sailings for services on the Asia-Europe, Transpacific, and Asia-Middle East primary commerce lanes.

Ocean Network Express (ONE), one of the new alliance’s members, noted that it would make the final sailing schedule for THE Alliance services accessible as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for ONE commented: “As we move to the Premier Alliance, we are dedicated to minimising interruptions and providing a smooth service to fulfill your shipping needs on these critical global trade routes.”

In September, Sea-Intelligence discovered that MSC’s network structure halves reportable sailing lengths, having a financial advantage in ETS expenses over OCEAN Alliance.

Two months later, the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) established a 15-day comment period for the public to respond to a recently filed vessel-sharing agreement between ONE, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), and Yang Ming Marine Transportation (Yang Ming).
