Andy Barrons, Chief Strategy Officer at Navis, recently commented on the company’s Business Bellwether Report, stating: “We are seeing that data standardization is needed, and the industry culture and the capacity to share data needs more improvement.”

A session on “Setting up Your Team for Success in Automation” will involve renowned industry expert Rich Ceci, Vice President and Director of Information Technology at Virginia International Terminals.

In partnership with Oscar Pernia, formerly of Navis, Ceci penned a paper on the importance of automated intelligence, software required as a bridge for humans and robots to help each other.
