Navis to Highlight Heroes of the Sector

Navis has outlined a selection of world-leading maritime players as nominees for its Inspire Awards 2019, where the US-based company intends to celebrate best practices within terminals, shipping and ocean liner operations.

The awards are slated for March 26, 2019, at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Given the emphasis Navis are placing on the whole supply chain rather than just the terminal sector, the terminal operations giant is clearly leading the field in its efforts to highlight excellence in different parts of the chain, thereby fostering increased collaboration across different sectors.

The nominees for the Inspire Awards have been grouped in to the following categories, and read as following:

Innovation: APM Terminals, Medport, DP World Posorja, GCT Deltaport, Haifa Port, Napier Port, Modern Terminals, DaChan Bay, Montecon, Ports of Auckland, Qingdao New Qianwan Container Terminal, Red Sea Gateway Terminal, and Steveco Oy.

Collaboration Across Container Flow: Login Logistica, and Seaboard Marine.

Vessel Performance and Capacity: Seaspan Ship Management, and Zeaborn Ship Management.

Customer & Community Impact: DP World Callao, DP World Jeddah South, Haifa Port, Porto Itapoá

Learning & Development: DP World Prince Rupert, ICTSI South Pacific, Puerto Arica Terminal, Red Sea Gateway Terminal
