Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced a year-round service to New Zealand’s Northport, improving access to international trade routes for exporters and importers in the country’s Northland region.
This news follows the seasonal port call at Northport which, after proving highly successful, is now a fixed part of MSC’s “Kiwi Express” route. It will be visited on a fortnightly basis.
MSC, as the only shipping line offering a dedicated service from Northport, has made the move to boost trade connections and create business opportunities for local exporters and importers in the Northland of New Zealand.

Steve Wright, General Manager of MSC New Zealand, has discussed the new service: “We are delighted to add Northport as a year-round call on the Kiwi Express.
“It is a noticeable and important inclusion for all exporters and importers in the Northland region, as they now have direct access to all international markets for their cargo.
“MSC has always been a strong supporter of regional New Zealand and this year-round call further enhances this reputation.
“Our focus is on providing the highest standards of reliability and stability, in which our customers can continue to have great confidence.”
