MSC upgrades services between south and east Asia

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced the enhancement of the Bengal service, to establish direct connections between China and Bangladesh.

The upgraded Bengal service will feature a transit time of 10 days from Shanghai to Chattogram.

The shipping company is also launching a new standalone service named Saola, offering direct connections between Central China and Vietnam, with a reportedly competitive transit time.

Furthermore, the Kaguya service will be improved to significantly benefit long-haul cargo to and from Japan with a connection via Busan.

The first sailings of the new and improved services will commence in July.
