MSC revises Mediterranean and US service

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is revising its former standalone Türkiye/West Med to US service.

Renamed EMUSA, the new set-up will connect Mediterranean and US trade by adding direct coverage from Barcelona, Spain and Fos-sur-Mer, France.

These new calls in Barcelona and Fos-sur-Mer aim to further expand MSC’s transatlantic coverage, and increase trade connectivity between Europe and the US.

The first sailing will be with the MSC Manzanillo, voyage number MX425, on 2 July 2024 from Fos-sur-Mer.

Last week, MSC reached an agreement with premier technology startup NYSHEX to digitise the performance monitoring of its ocean freight contracts.
