MSC has announced a new call in Zeebrugge, Belgium for its Shogun and Lion services to provide customers with an alternative port of discharge in North Europe.
The additional port of call will provide customers with the option to discharge at an easily accessible port, while also offering improved coverage for inland connections. The two new direct calls will also help to reduce pressure amid the ongoing congestion in European ports, said the company.
The updated port rotations for the two services are as follows:
- Lion service: Sines – Zeebrugge – Antwerp – Felixstowe
- Shogun service: – Zeebrugge – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Rotterdam – Port Tangiers
First sailings with the revised rotations will be the following:
MSC recently announced the launch of its new Pertiwi service on the Intra-Asia network.
The latest offering from the carrier will set sail from early July and will provide customers with a direct link from North China and Korea to South-East Asia.
