Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre reported three separate instances of bad weather whereby containers were lost overboard.
The 4,738 TEU boxship was on passage from the Port of Boston in the US to the port of Caucedo in the Dominican Republic, according to Maritime Bulletin.
The vessel was sailing past Bermuda, and was located approximately 350 nautical miles east of Bermuda when it experienced adverse weather conditions that led to the container loss.

The Liberian-flagged ship arrived at the port of Caucedo on 5 March before leaving the port the following day sailing to Turkey.
This container spill occurred on the same week that the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) issued a refusal of access direction notice on another Liberian-flagged container ship, MSC KYMEA II, from Australian ports for 90 days.
