Nasser Bin Khaled International, a subsidiary of Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons, will collaborate with smart logistics company Ehrhardt + Partner Group (EPG) to build a US $500 million logistics park in Qatar.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by the partners to establish the fully automated logistics centre, which is expected to fulfil the requirements of Qatar’s growing logistics needs.

EPG is Germany's leader in smart logistics and warehousing, serving clients in Europe such as DHL and Volkswagen.

In addition, the company also provides integrated supply chain execution software, including a Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Transportation Management Software (TMS).

According to a statement, EPG will bring the “latest technology in computerized logistics” to Qatar, making the nation a “world class logistics hub” with strong ties to German companies.

EPG is now set to take over the planning and consulting of the centre, while the Logistics Software Suite (LFS) from EPG will manage the smart logistics complex in the future.
