Portchain has announced that Montreal Gateway Terminals will join the Portchain Connect network.
Montreal Gateway Terminals will utilise Portchain Connect to improve the quality and speed of its berth alignment with clients by leveraging digital handshakes and secure data sharing.
Portchain Connect enables Montreal Gateway Terminals to get real-time schedules and move count updates directly from carrier systems, allowing them to respond and counter-propose swiftly to align vessel schedules with terminal berth plans.

Frédérick Nadeau, Vice-Président Opérations at Montreal Gateway Terminals, said: “The digitisation of our berth management process with Portchain Connect has improved the speed and accuracy of our scheduling, automating processes and generating time savings for our team.
