“Kerry’s breadth and depth of experience in port planning, analysis and design is an invaluable addition to our integrated in-house capabilities,” said Richard Steinke, head of Moffatt & Nichol’s marine terminals practice.

“We’re excited to have him on board to provide support for our clients worldwide.”

This experience has ranged from conceptual planning through completion of construction and has included analysis and planning for numerous container terminals, including storage yards, intermodal rail yards, gate complexes, terminal buildings and site security. In fact, he has been involved in the planning and design efforts for numerous terminals with annual throughputs greater than 2,000,000 TEU and has extensive knowledge in layout philosophies, diverse terminal operational modes and all types of container handling equipment.

“This is a great opportunity to participate in Moffatt & Nichol’s future endeavours and continue to develop world-class ports across the globe. I am proud to join the team,” said Simpson.
