A video released by Maersk Line shows the Madison Maersk docked at the Maasvlakte II in the Port of Rotterdam.

Maersk Line is the world’s largest container shipping company. The Danish liner employs 7,100 seafarers and 25,500 land-based employees, while operating 608 container vessels.

The company released a statement underneath its video, which said: “Last Thursday, Madison Maersk hit a record number of 17.152 TEU loaded while leaving the Port of Rotterdam. The Triple-E vessel also had a record number of 298 containers loaded at the 10th tier on deck, which was a first time ever for the port of Rotterdam.

“This video was made while the vessel was moored alongside APMT Maasvlakte II and got towed into the right position to start its journey!”

The Netherlands was recently revealed as the global infrastructure leader, where the Port of Rotterdam is currently the largest port in Europe.
