Maersk has made its final application call out to early-stage start-ups in industries including food and agriculture technology for its FoodTrack by Maersk initiative.

When the last applicants send their submissions, which have to be in by May 20, 2018, the Danish conglomerate in control of the world’s largest container shipping company will begin its drive for positive change in the food supply chain.

FoodTrack by Maersk is an intensive month-long programme to battle the annual US$ 1 trillion food waste problem.

It has collaborated with Rockstart — one of Europe's first multi-vertical startup accelerators.
