A video released by Maersk shows part 2 of an insightful interview with Dirk Hoffmann, Managing Director of Safmarine in Southern Africa, a member of the Maersk Group where he discusses the outlook for exports in the Southern Africa.

Mr Hoffmann states that despite losing 25% of the value of the South African Rand in the last 12 months, there is an opportunity for South African exporters to see increased growth.
Currently, China and South East Asia are the biggest and most important trade lanes for Southern African trade, in terms of both imports and exports.
