A.P. Moller-Maersk (Maersk) has teamed up with Danone, a prominent food and beverage company, to cut logistics GHG emissions utilising Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean.
Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean is a product based on low-GHG emission fuels such as biodiesel or biomethanol, which are manufactured entirely from waste feedstocks. These fuels are then utilised on ships across the Maersk fleet.
Danone’s ECO Delivery Ocean reportedly reduces GHG emissions by over 40 per cent compared to traditional fossil fuels.
