Maersk COO Steps Down

A.P. Moller – Maersk, the largest container shipping line in the world, has announced that its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Soren Toft has stood down.

In a statement, Maersk said its CEO Soren Skou will take on the responsibilities of COO while a permanent replacement can be found.

The Executive Board will now consist of Soren Skou, Caroline Dybeck Happe, Vincent Clerc and Morten Engelstoft.

Soren Toft joined Maersk in 1994 and become a member of the Executive Board in December 2017.
