A video released by the Port of Long Beach shows its new cutting-edge Middle Harbor Terminal, which is set to open in 2016.
The terminal will be equipped to handle mega-ships as large as 18,000 TEU and will also be able handle even larger ships in the near future.
In order to maintain its position as one of the greenest ports in the world, the terminal will be emissions free, with all electric equipment installed and operational at the terminal.
