DSP has been appointed as the main System Integrator for a major new industrial complex and accompanying port development in the Middle East, strengthening the Swiss firm’s international profile in logistics technology.
The Swiss firm will oversee the implementation of a fully integrated Logistics Management System (LMS) and Terminal Operating System (TOS).
These platforms will form the central digital infrastructure supporting both the industrial plant and its newly constructed container terminal. The systems are designed to enhance cybersecurity, improve operational control and provide complete traceability throughout the logistics chain.
DSP will coordinate an international network of technology providers, including Kaleris, Altea 365, Camco, Lexter and QDS. Together, they will deliver a unified solution encompassing hardware, software and operational infrastructure.
The objective is to ensure seamless interaction between production processes, warehouse activities, filling and storage operations, container handling and automated gate systems.

The development will be supported by high-reliability equipment, next-generation mobile and vehicular technologies, and strengthened cybersecurity frameworks. These components aim to guarantee uninterrupted activity and safeguard sensitive operational data.
All stages of the industrial and port development will feed into DSP’s DATAVIEW platform, which provides real-time business intelligence, enabling predictive analysis and proactive operational decision-making.
By integrating LMS and TOS capabilities, the project is expected to optimise logistics flows across the facility, reduce bottlenecks and increase overall efficiency. The digitalisation of procedures is also intended to support sustainability objectives by improving resource allocation and cutting unnecessary operational waste.
