Lloyd’s List Intelligence has launched a new emissions performance feature in its Seasearcher platform, developed in partnership with carbon analytics firm Siglar Carbon.
The integration aims to support faster, more informed decision-making by turning emissions compliance data into actionable commercial insights.
A recent survey shows that 60 per cent of shipowners failed to submit EU emissions reports on time, highlighting the growing compliance challenge.
Seasearcher’s new feature allows users to monitor, record, and benchmark vessel and voyage-level emissions in near real-time, with data updates every 24 hours.

The system also automatically validates key metrics — such as speed and carbon pricing — during ongoing voyages.
Key features of the new capability include CO2 emissions estimates at the voyage level, enabling users to assess environmental impact per journey.

It also provides vessel-level ratings such as CII and AER, supporting decisions related to chartering, vetting, and investment.
Users can analyse historical emissions data to track performance trends over time and optimise fleet strategies.
Additionally, the system delivers actionable intelligence to help identify efficiency improvements, manage regulatory risks, and access green finance opportunities.
Ross Patterson, Senior Product Manager at Lloyd’s List Intelligence, said: “This partnership brings high-quality emissions analytics into Seasearcher workflows. By combining our tracking and fleet intelligence with Siglar’s data, we help users turn regulatory demands into strategic advantage.
