UK based port operator Peel Ports has scheduled its US$431 million Liverpool2 container terminal for a summer 2016 opening, after the in-river development had failed to reach its target opening date in late 2015, according to Liverpool Echo.

“It is exciting, the training is going well and the workforce is engaged and ready to go.
“I think it is really going to turn everyone’s heads, not just in our community but around the world, getting GBLIV, which is our code, out there.”
