Italy-based Leghorn has launched a new version of its RFID logistics anti-tamper Neptune bolt seal which now offers tamper evidence and no chance of regenerating electric conductivity as the seal is cut.
With straight integration into the TOS, the seal is designed to speed-up pre-cleaning operations of trucks at the terminal entrance gate, with 100% reliability in container identification, claimed Leghorn.
The company is now rolling out the new RFID anti-tamper Neptune Seal in addition to an active version – Mentor Seal.
This version is already set to provide transport and shipping companies with higher security features, including registration of the time stamp, sensing capability and other events.
Antwerp DP World Terminal has successfully deployed RFID logistics Neptune seals over the past two years.
