Konecranes new CEO to assume position earlier

Konecranes has announced that its newly appointed CEO, Anders Svensson, will start his new role earlier than anticipated.

Svensson will assume the position as President and CEO of Konecranes on 19 October, approximately one and a half months earlier than previously communicated.

Konecranes had planned to host a Capital Markets Day in the autumn 2022. As Anders Svensson will join the company in October, Konecranes has decided to postpone the Capital Markets Day to the first half of 2023.

The exact date will be announced later.

This month, Konecranes concluded an order with Kemi Shipping Oy for its E-VER fully electric forklifts including full-service contracts for their operations in the Port of Kemi, Finland.

The Finnish logistics company is following up its early 2022 E-VER delivery. This additional order was received in June 2022 and will be delivered in the first half of 2023.
